This range is very competitive since it is:
- 25% less expensive than a H-Guide Classic Series
- 20% less expensive than a U-Guide Classic Series
- 10% less expensive than a U-Guide Light Series
(comparison made on size 4 – for cylinder Ø32)
Area of application of compact guide units
These compact guides being available in ball bushings whereas all the U-guide units are generally available in plain bearings only, they are particularly interesting for simple applications at high speed like in packaging machines.
It will also be used in tight spaces, but for short strokes (<100 mm), it may be advisable to use a compact cylinder ISO 21287 with the guides 34*EC or 34*EF series.
