Front plate in steel on guide unit
These guide units are equipped with a front plate a zinc steel for better resistance to torsion.
Indeed, when the front plate exerts an off-centered pressure before the end stroke of the cylinder or if the guide undergoes an external force off-centered with respect to the axis of the guide, the generated twist can cause a matting of the housing of the rod in the plate if it is aluminum, especially if the penetration of the rod is low (as on the Classic series).
This range is available on the Classic, Strengthened and Heavy series for Ø50 to Ø125 cylinders.
